Director of Little Angels Primary School & Angels Centre for Children with Disabilities Participates in Special Fathers Network Workshop in Chicago, USA
Little Angels Primary School and Angels Centre for Children with Disabilities are proud to announce that their Managing Director, Mr. Niwagaba Alfred, is participating in the Special Fathers Network (SFN) Workshop held in Chicago, Illinois, USA.
The Special Fathers Network is a groundbreaking, U.S.-based mentoring initiative that brings together fathers raising children with special needs, offering a growing database of peer mentors, resources, and global support. Founded in Chicago, SFN is dedicated to empowering fathers to take active, informed roles in the care and development of their children, while building inclusive communities.
Mr. Niwagaba’s engagement in this international forum underscores the commitment of both Little Angels Primary School and the Angels Centre for Children with Disabilities to inclusive education, disability advocacy, and strengthening family support systems in Uganda.
“This is not only an opportunity to learn but also to share Uganda’s experiences, challenges, and best practices in raising and educating children with disabilities,” said Mr. Niwagaba. “We believe that every child deserves a nurturing and inclusive environment, and empowering parents, especially fathers, is key to achieving that.”
Through his participation, Mr. Niwagaba hopes to gain insights that will enrich programs and strengthen partnerships at both institutions, ensuring that children of all abilities are given the tools they need to thrive.
